Five Things to do This Summer with the Kids

As there are still a few weeks left of the summer holidays, I thought I would share some of my favourite things we have done in Somerset this summer.

Somerset Lavender Farm

Somerset Lavender Farm is our very own Provence in Somerset with a lovely café on site too.

The Holburne Museum

The Holburne Museum is a great place to go on a rainy day. They are currently showing an exhibition called The Art of Illustration by Lauren Child with a family trail around the museum and gardens.

Stourhead

Stourhead is a beautiful place to go whatever the weather. The Big Tree Climbing Company are currently offering tree climbing experiences for all the family. There are still limited places left to book for August and September.

Somerset Rural Life Museum

Somerset Rural Life Museum is a lovely museum with an orchard area where you can have a picnic and great workshops and activities for children throughout the year.

Workshops at Mary Kilvert Shop!

We have had great fun hosting workshops in our shop this summer. We have one more left to make magic wands on Wednesday 28^th starting at 10.30 am.
