To celebrate the arrival of the British summer Mary has launched her Summer Garden Collection, inspired by the swallows that circle in the skies above her studio at the top of Catherine Hill in Frome. ‘I always feel so excited when the swallows arrive after their long journeys, it feels like summer is here’ says Mary. Created as a design for wallpaper the collection is now available on a range of homewares including linen cushions, fine bone china mugs, birch wood trays, canvas bags, notebooks and greeting cards.

New Beginnings

If you haven’t yet visited Frome we highly recommend it, having moved here from London over three years ago. There is lots going on over the next few weeks, including the Frome Independent Market, the Frome Festival and Frome Open Studios. Catherine Hill is a fantastic place to visit, if you like independent shopping in a beautiful setting. The picture above was taken at our third birthday celebration by Jesse Wild and shows Mary, husband Simon, daughter and Cavelier King Charles Spaniel Bertie. Our daughter is growing up fast and is already showing a keen interest in animals, particularly sheep! The word ‘Baaa’ is one of her most used words. We are currently busy finishing a new collection which we look forward to launching this Autumn.
