Bunny Ears - A Fun Project for Easter

Make this Easter extra special by making a beautiful pair of bunny ears, the perfect accessory for an Easter Egg hunt! We show you how in our easy to follow step by step guide.

HOW TO MAKE BUNNY EARS:

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:

Thick brown or grey felt for the outer ear

Thinner pink felt for the inner ear

A plain head band

Material flowers

A glue gun with glue sticks or a similar fast drying glue

STEP 1:

Draw the outline on your grey felt for the outer ear either free hand or download the template here.

STEP 2:

Repeat with the pink felt for the inner ear. Download the template here.

STEP 3:

Glue the inner ear to the outer ear.

Make two cuts at the bottom of each ear with which will attach the ears to the headband. Make them approximately 2cm long to give enough length to wrap around the headband.

STEP 5:

Apply hot glue just above the cuts and pinch the felt together making sure to hold until the glue dries. Attach the ears to the headband by gluing the central tab and wrapping it from the back around to the front of the headband, holding until dry. Use a small amount of glue on each of the side tabs and wrap them from the front around to the back of the headband to firmly secure the ears in place.

STEP 6:

Embellish your headband with pretty flowers which you can either buy or make yourself!
